History of Petrovdan Parachuting Cup |

With wish to continue and develop
the tradition of parachuting sport, in the beginning of
1996. the parachuters of A.C. Prijedor have come to an
idea to organize a parachuting competition which would
eventually grow into the competition of wider regional
and European character.
In the extremely complicated situation and
with unselfish help of RS Air Forces and administrative
bodies of the municipality of Prijedor, the first parachuting
cup has started on July 9th 1996 at the stadium of the
football club “Rudar-Prijedor”.
Today after ten years we have 10th Jubilee
Petrovdan Parachuting Cup, a manifestation which has grown
into one of the most important sport manifestation of
Prijedor and wider region.
During the organization of this Jubilee 10th
Parachuting Cup we have unselfish and significant help
and support of RS Air Forces, Municipal Assembly of Prijedor
and other friends of the parachuting sports, as we had
during previous nine cups.
We would use this opportunity to invite all
parachuters as people of good will and blue sky admirers,
as well as all airmen to take participation in this manifestation
and to feel in right way the true hospitability of people
from A.C. Prijedor and the city of Prijedor.
